About

My goal as a designer is to create goods and services that make people smile. I think the world has enough bland products out there. I think it’s time to spice things up and make products that bring a sense of fun and excitement to our workplaces, homes, and communities.

As a child, I spent countless hours playing with Legos, making knight armor out of cardboard, and building forts out of furniture. I’ve always felt truly myself while immersed in the creative process. For the longest time I wanted to become a professional artist, but the “starving artist” stigma led me to pursue a degree in business.

Upon graduating from Utah State University with a degree in Marketing, I started working at a software company. Although I knew my dream career was still out there, I gained valuable business experience that taught me the importance of strong customer service, clear and focused communication, and problem solving to increase revenue.

Three years after graduating, I stumbled upon the fascinating world of Industrial Design and was accepted to the Master of Industrial Design program at Arizona State University.

I completed graduate school in May 2022 and now work as an Industrial Designer at Sprout Kids, a children’s furniture company and am loving getting to know the hard-working and talented team there!
